Motorcyclist, Pillion Rider Injured in Head-On Collision Between Tata Sumo and Bike in Kulgam

Kulgam, Dec 6: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were injured after a head-on collision between a Tata Sumo and a motorcycle in the Nillow area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

An official said the accident occurred on Saturday, leaving the motorcyclist and his pillion rider—identified as Shaheen Ahmad Naik and Sumaya Jan, residents of Nillow—injured. The duo was immediately shifted to District Hospital Kulgam for treatment, from where one among them was referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced medical care.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.
