*MeT Forecasts Cloudy Weather, Light Snow at Isolated Places Over Next Week: Director MET*

Srinagar, Dec 14 The Meteorological Department Srinagar has forecast partly to generally cloudy weather across Jammu and Kashmir over the coming days, with the possibility of light snowfall at isolated higher reaches, particularly in North and Central Kashmir.
Director Meteorological Department, Dr Mukhtar Ahmad, as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said that on December 14 and 15, the weather is expected to remain partly to generally cloudy, with a chance of very light snow at isolated higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir during late night or early morning hours.
He said that from December 16 to 18, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the Union Territory.
According to the forecast, December 19 and 20 may again witness partly to generally cloudy conditions, with the possibility of very light snowfall at isolated higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir during late night or early morning hours.
Dr Mukhtar Ahmad further stated that on December 21, the weather is likely to turn generally cloudy towards evening, with the possibility of light rain or snow at isolated to scattered places in the Kashmir Division and isolated places in the Jammu Division.
From December 22 to 26, weather conditions are expected to remain partly cloudy, he added.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued an advisory, warning that shallow to moderate fog is likely to continue at many places in the Kashmir Division and at isolated places in the Jammu Division, which may affect visibility, especially during morning and night hours.
Authorities have advised commuters and travelers to remain cautious while driving under foggy conditions. (KNC)
