*Bemina Police Attach Two-Storey House Linked to NDPS Cases*

Srinagar, Dec 18,Police Station Bemina on Thursday attached a two-storey residential house in Barthana locality as part of action taken under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. Officials said the property falls under Khasra No. 155 and is owned by Mushtaq Ahmad Ganie, son of Ghulam Ahmad.

According to police, the attachment has been carried out in connection with two separate narcotics-related cases registered against Ganie’s son, Shahid Mushtaq Ganie. The cases are FIR No. 67/2025 under Section 8/21 of the NDPS Act and FIR No. 108/2025 under Section 8/20 of the NDPS Act, both lodged at Police Station Bemina.

Police said the action is part of ongoing measures against individuals involved in narcotics offences and properties linked to proceeds of illegal trade. Locals in the area gathered as officials carried out the formal attachment procedures in the presence of magistrate-level oversight.

Authorities described the step as a continuation of efforts to deter narcotics activities and strengthen enforcement against those accused of repeated violations. Police added that further legal proceedings related to the attached property will follow as per established norms.
