Srinagar, December 26: In a tragic incident, a 35โyearโold advocate succumbed to his injuries after being involved in a road accident in Banihal on Thursday.
Officials told GNS that an Alto car was involved in an accident at Banihal in which Adil Ahmed Sheikh (35), son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, a resident of Kandipora Bijbehera, Anantnag, was critically injured. He was first taken to GMC Anantnag and later referred to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment, but he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of the morning.
Adil was posted as a Public Prosecutor with the CBI in Delhi. Meanwhile, tributes and condolences poured in from everyone.(GNS)
