*Three Srinagar-Delhi flights cancelled due to Republic Day arrangements at Delhi Airport*

Srinagar, Jan 21,: At least three flights operating to and from Srinagar Airport were cancelled on Wednesday following the issuance of a Notice to Airmen at Delhi Airport in connection with Republic Day arrangements, officials said.

According to Srinagar Airport authorities, the cancellations were enforced by the respective airlines due to airspace and operational restrictions at Delhi Airport. The advisory clarified that the NOTAM was already in force, leading to disruptions in scheduled flight operations between Srinagar and the national capital.

Airport officials advised passengers to check the latest status of their flights directly with their respective airlines before leaving for the airport. The advisory further expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to travellers due to circumstances beyond the control of local airport authorities.

A list shared by the airport showed that the affected flights included multiple Srinagar-Delhi services scheduled during the morning and afternoon hours. Passengers arriving at the airport were seen seeking clarification from airline counters amid uncertainty over revised schedules.

Republic Day-related security and air traffic management measures at Delhi Airport routinely lead to temporary adjustments in flight operations, including cancellations and rescheduling of services across several sectors.

Srinagar Airport authorities said further updates would be issued if there were any changes in flight operations during the day.
