*Flight operations resume at Srinagar Airport, minimal cancellations due to NOTAM, weather*

Srinagar, Jan 24 : A day after snowfall disrupted air traffic and grounded dozens of flights, operations at Srinagar International Airport resumed on Saturday with only a few cancellations reported due to a NOTAM at Delhi Airport.

A senior Airport official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the flight operations have largely resumed today. Except for a few cancellations caused by external factors such as the Delhi NOTAM and early morning weather, arrivals and departures are now normal.

The official said passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest status before heading to the airport.

On Friday, heavy snowfall had forced the cancellation of 26 arriving and 26 departing flights and left hundreds of passengers stranded at the airport as visibility plummeted and the runway remained snow-covered.—(KNO)
