Jammu–Srinagar Vande Bharat crosses 1 Lakh passengers in Just 22 days

In a major milestone for rail connectivity in Jammu & Kashmir, the Jammu–Srinagar Vande Bharat Express has carried over 1,01,050 passengers within just 22 days of commercial operations.
The semi-high-speed train, which began regular service on May 2, has emerged as a reliable all-weather travel lifeline between Jammu and the Kashmir Valley, offering seamless connectivity with excellent punctuality and passenger comfort.
Northern Railway officials said the response from travellers has been overwhelmingly positive, with the service boosting tourism and improving transportation access for Kashmir’s apple and handicraft industries to markets across India.
