The Ministry of Home Affairs has appointed senior IPS officer Vidhi Kumar Birdi, currently serving as Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kashmir, as Inspector General (IG) in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on deputation.
Birdi’s appointment marks a significant transition from his role in Kashmir Police to a key leadership position in the CRPF.
