Jammu, June 7th : The Indian Army on Sunday honoured Lieutenant Beereshwar Goswami, who lost his life while carrying out operational responsibilities in the Rajouri sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
Lt Goswami was engaged in a search operation under challenging weather and terrain conditions when he made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Tributes poured in from Army personnel and senior officers, who remembered him as a dedicated and courageous officer.
Expressing deep sorrow over the loss, the Army extended condolences to the bereaved family and reaffirmed its commitment to the ideals of service and sacrifice exemplified by the fallen officer.
