*Bandipora Police Bust Drug Trafficking Module in Hajin; 4.090 Kg Charas Seized, Three Arrested.*

Continuing its sustained drive against drug trafficking, Bandipora Police achieved a major success by apprehending three drug peddlers and recovering a substantial quantity of contraband during naka checking in the Hajin area.
During naka checking at Madwan, a police party of Police Station Hajin noticed suspicious movement of three individuals who attempted to flee upon spotting the police party. The suspects were tactfully apprehended and subjected to search in accordance with the provisions of law.
During the search, a Charas powder-like substance was recovered from their possession, comprising:
• 1.230 Kg from Sayar Ahmad Malla, S/O Abdul Rahim Malla, R/O Madwan.
• 1.660 Kg from Mehraj Ud Din Hajam, S/O Ghulam Mohammad Hajam, R/O Madwan.
• 1.200 Kg from Aamir Tariq Ganie, S/O Tariq Ganie, R/O Bangar Mohalla, Hajin.
The total recovery amounts to 4.090 Kg of Charas powder-like substance.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 87/2026 under Sections 8/20 and 29 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Hajin. All three accused have been arrested and the recovered contraband has been seized as per legal procedure.
Further investigation is underway.
