*Western Disturbance to Bring Widespread Rain Across Jammu & Kashmir; Peak Activity Expected Late Tonight to Tomorrow Morning*

An active Western Disturbance is expected to affect Jammu & Kashmir over the next 36–40 hours. As the system draws moisture from the Arabian Sea, rainfall is expected to increase across most parts of the region.

The weather is likely to peak from late tonight till tomorrow morning, with many areas expected to receive moderate to heavy rainfall.

People, especially those living in hilly and vulnerable areas, are advised to remain cautious, as heavy rainfall may trigger flash floods, landslides, and mudslides. There is also a slight chance of isolated cloudburst events in a few places.
