*Amit Shah spoke to slain cop’s son: Sunil Sharma after visiting family in Budgam*

Budgam, July 24 : Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Friday visited the residence of cop, who was killed in the Anantnag terror attack, in Lolipora area of Beerwah to express condolences with the bereaved family.

Speaking to reporters, Sharma, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said he has made the supreme sacrifice and that two generations of the family have served the nation.

He said Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to slain cop’s son over the phone to convey his condolences and assured the family of all possible support.

Sharma said the family also shared their concerns directly with the Home Minister. “Amit Shah assured them that Centre stands firmly with the bereaved family and would extend every possible assistances,” he said.

Sharma further said that the sacrifice of the family would be honoured and efforts would be made to name a school or any other public institution after the policeman.
