Srinagar: Rahul Bansal, Managing Director of Kashmir Ispat, and business leader Amogh Bansal underlined the importance of quality, technological advancement and customer service as Shakti Thermex hosted its Dealer Meet 2026 in Srinagar, bringing together dealers and distributors from across Kashmir.

The event was organised to appreciate the company’s dealer network, showcase its latest manufacturing capabilities and brief business partners about the company’s new technological initiatives and future plans.

Addressing the gathering, Rahul Bansal said the company’s long journey in the steel sector had been built around quality, innovation and its ability to adapt to changing technology and market requirements.

He said the company’s continued investment in modern machinery was aimed at strengthening its manufacturing capabilities while ensuring that dealers and customers received products meeting high quality standards.

Rahul Bansal also stressed the importance of maintaining strong relationships with dealers and distributors, saying they were an integral part of the company’s growth and market reach.
He said the introduction of Shakti Thermex represented a new phase for the company while retaining the legacy and trust associated with the Shakti brand.

He emphasised that technological advancement would remain an important part of the company’s future strategy, with continuous improvement necessary to meet the changing expectations of the steel market.

Bansal said the company would continue working towards improving production efficiency, maintaining product quality and strengthening its service network so that dealers could serve customers more effectively.

He also highlighted the importance of faster supply and efficient order processing, saying timely delivery was essential for maintaining confidence among dealers, retailers and end consumers.

Speaking on the occasion, business leader Amogh Bansal said the dealer meet was primarily aimed at appreciating the contribution of dealers who have played an important role in the company’s growth and market expansion.

He said the company’s journey began in 1971, when Late Shri Dewan Chand Bansal laid the foundation of the steel plant, marking the beginning of a legacy that has continued for more than five decades.

He said the vision of Late Shri Dewan Chand Bansal was rooted in quality, integrity, commitment and continuous improvement, values that have been carried forward by successive generations of the family.

“Our journey began in 1971 with Late Shri Dewan Chand Bansal, who laid the foundation of the steel plant. The values he established—quality, commitment and continuous improvement—continue to guide us even today. Our responsibility is to carry that legacy forward while embracing the technology of tomorrow,” Bansal said.

He said the company has been associated with steel manufacturing for more than five decades and has consistently focused on upgrading its technology and manufacturing capabilities.

“Technology keeps changing, and we have never hesitated to invest in new technology or move forward,” Amogh Bansal said, adding that the company’s philosophy was to keep improving its products and manufacturing processes with time.

According to him, the company has invested in advanced machinery imported from Germany to strengthen its manufacturing capabilities and bring production standards in line with international requirements.

He said the investment reflected the company’s effort to remain ahead of technological changes and provide customers with better-quality products.

Amogh Bansal also highlighted the transition of the company’s legacy Shakti brand into Shakti Thermex, saying the dealer meet was also aimed at creating awareness about the new identity and the technology supporting the brand.

He said the company had already started research into the next generation of technology and would continue to invest in new developments.

“Our research has already started on what the next technology will be. Just as we brought the latest technology to North India, our aim is to bring future technologies at the earliest,” he said.

Describing Kashmir as an important and knowledgeable market, Amogh Bansal said dealers and customers in the region were well aware of steel quality and understood the difference between genuine quality products and inferior material.

He said the company’s approach was not limited to increasing profits but was focused first on improving product quality and customer experience.

“Our first thought is how we can improve our quality and enhance our customer service,” he said.
The dealer meet also provided an opportunity for distributors and dealers from different parts of Kashmir to share their experiences with Shakti Thermex.

Dealers from Pulwama, Budgam and other areas highlighted the company’s product quality, customer service and quick order processing.

One of the dealers from Pulwama said the company’s adoption of advanced technology had given the brand a new identity while maintaining the quality associated with its long-standing presence in the market.

He particularly appreciated the company’s loading and dispatch system, saying vehicles were processed quickly, enabling dealers to maintain regular supplies.

Another dealer, who said he had been associated with the company for nearly two decades, described its product quality, delivery system and business dealings as major strengths.

He said timely deliveries had helped build confidence among retailers and customers and contributed to the company’s growing market presence.

A dealer from the Budgam area also highlighted the company’s response to repeat orders, saying customers who purchased Shakti Thermex products often returned with fresh requirements.

He said orders could be processed and vehicles dispatched within a short period, helping ensure that products reached customers without unnecessary delays.

The dealer meet concluded with an emphasis on technology, quality, customer service and stronger dealer relationships.
