Police Station Pahalgam today apprehended eight persons, all residents of Srinagar, for allegedly indulging in gambling activities along the banks of Lidder Nallah at Laripora, Pahalgam.
During the raid, police recovered and seized ₹19,290 in stake money.
Police said cognizance of the matter has been taken and further proceedings under the relevant provisions of law have been initiated.
