Pampore, Sept 17th : Minister for School Education, Higher Education, Health & Medical Education and Social Welfare, Sakeena Itoo, today inaugurated the newly constructed District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Complex at Pampore in Pulwama.
The state-of-the-art facility aims to strengthen teacher training, professional development and academic support for educators across the district.
The inauguration was attended by MLA Pampore and former Justice Hasnain Masoodi, Commissioner Secretary School Education Department Ram Niwas Sharma (IAS), besides senior officers and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, Sakeena Itoo stressed the need to equip teachers with modern skills, knowledge and resources to improve teaching and learning standards.
The new DIET complex will serve as a centre for teacher education, capacity building, innovative pedagogical practices, curriculum support and continuous professional development.
