🔘👉🏻 Poonch, Sep 17 : At least thirteen persons, including children, were injured after a Tata Sumo met with an accident near Dharana Water Point in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Thursday.
Officials told GNS that the vehicle bearing registration number UP16DT0695 met with an accident near Dharana, resulting in injuries to 13 passengers.
All the injured were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Mendhar for treatment.
Block Medical Officer, Dr. Gazala Choudhary said that two ambulances brought all 13 injured persons to the hospital and their condition is stable. She said those requiring further specialized care will be referred if necessary.
The injured have been identified as Abdul Rehman (55), Anisa (11), Khatoon Bi (45), Alyas Ch (19), Ayat (9 months), Sobia (19), Zafran Ch (21), Shanaz Akhter (39), Sobia Kouser (25), Rizwan (6 months), Baby (6 months), Akhter Bi (35) and Zareen Akhter (30), officials added.
Police have registered a case and started investigation.(GNS)
