Police In Pulwama Conducts Mock Drill at Kakapora Railway Station to Strengthen Security Preparedness

September 19: As part of its ongoing security preparedness measures, police in Pulwama conducted a mock drill at Kakapora Railway Station in coordination with other security and emergency response agencies deployed in the area.
The exercise witnessed participation from District Police Pulwama, Government Railway Police (GRP), Railway Protection Force (RPF), SOG, Army Unit 50 RR, CRPF, Fire & Emergency Services, SDRF and PHC Kakapora.
The mock drill was aimed at enhancing mutual coordination, operational response and preparedness of the participating forces to effectively thwart any potential terrorist act and respond swiftly to any emergent situation, while ensuring protection of life and property.
The exercise provided an opportunity to assess and further strengthen inter-agency coordination and response mechanisms under simulated conditions.
Police remains committed to strengthening security preparedness and ensuring the safety and security of the public and vital installations across the district.
