*Baramulla Police Solve Theft Case, Recover Stolen Gold Earrings*
Baramulla | October 13, (LoC World) : Baramulla Police have solved a theft case reported at Police Station Baramulla, recovering the stolen earrings through effective investigation, technical analysis and CCTV footage.
Police Station Baramulla received a written complaint from Fayaz Ahmad Khan, a resident of Kanlibagh, Baramulla, regarding the disappearance of his wifeβs earrings from their residence on October 4, 2026, when the family was away in Srinagar.
Accordingly, FIR No. 167/2026 under Sections 303(2) and 331(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) was registered at Police Station Baramulla, and investigation was taken up.
During the investigation, the domestic helper was questioned, and with the assistance of technical analysis and CCTV footage, the missing earrings were recovered from her possession. Further investigation is underway in the case.
