Srinagar, May 01: Private Schools Association of Jammu and Kashmir (PSAJK) today expressed its profound condolences on the demise of noted businesswomen, entrepreneur and former Secretary General of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) Dr Gazalla Amin Noor.
Terming her as an icon of women empowerment, the Association said that the demise of Dr Gazalla is a huge loss for the society in general and business fraternity in particular. “Passing away of Dr Gazalla Amin ji is a great loss for our society. She was a hardworking, farsighted and a woman with thousand ideas. She broke through many barriers to achieve success in the field of business. Her agro farm is a testament of her success and a legacy for everybody to see and get inspired,” said G N Var president PSAJK.
The Association said that Dr Gazalla was an icon for our younger generation. “Our students would look at her and get inspired with her work. Particularly girls in our schools and colleges would see and think that if she can do we can also do. She gave students confidence that nothing is impossible. Her legacy will continue for a long time,” said Var.
The Association expressed their sympathies with the family especially her husband, sons and uncle Advocate Zaffar Shah at this hour of grief. In a condolence meeting, the members of the association expressed their deepest sympathies to the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to give strength and courage to them at this juncture and also prayed for eternal peace and the highest place in Jannat for the departed soul.
