Search Operation Resumes for Srinagar Man Who Drowned While Saving Son in Pahalgam

Pahalgam, June 1: The search operation to trace a Srinagar resident who reportedly drowned while attempting to save his son in Pahalgam has resumed today with intensified efforts by rescue teams.
According to reports, the man entered the water after his son got into difficulty. While the child was rescued, the father was swept away by the strong current and has remained missing since the incident.
Teams from the police, SDRF, local administration, and volunteers have been conducting extensive searches along the river stretch. Rescue personnel resumed operations early this morning, utilizing boats and specialized equipment to locate the missing individual.
Authorities have urged visitors and locals to exercise caution near rivers and water bodies, particularly during periods of strong currents and rising water levels.
