MeT predicts two day spell of rain from Sep 2
The Metrological Department on Sunday said that weather will remain mainly generally dry with brief spell of Rain/thundershower at isolated places.
The MeT spokesman said that from 2-3rd September, weather will remain generally cloudy with light to moderate Rain/thundershower showers at many places towards late evening/night to Forenoon of 3rd Sept.
โ4-5th Sept: Generally dry weather and between 6-7th Sept:Brief spell of Rain at isolated to scattered places,โ the spokeman said.
The MeT department has also issued advisory stating that there is a possibility of heavy rain during 2-3 sept at isolated places.
It can led to flash floods, landslides, mudslides and shooting stones over few vulnerable places.
โWater logging in few low lying areas and possibility of light snowfall over few higher reaches.โ
It further said that trekkers and tourists are advised to plan accordingly.
