PDP Zonal President Bandipora resigned from basic membership over ticket issue

Bandipora, Sep 01: The peoples democratic party Zonal president Bandipora Peerzada Shareef ud din Shah of North Kashmirs Bandipora district resigned from basic membership of the party over ticket distribution issue after Syed Tajamul given mandate in Bandipora constituency.

Speaking with the Kashmir News Service (KNS), Peerzada Shareef-ud-din shah announced his resignation from basic membership of the party, saying the party has not done justice for party workers, and alleges they can not do justice with people also.

“Before this when the party demanded a list of candidates we sent four names after careful consideration which included senior leader and former minister Naeem Akhther but the party did not find it important to discuss it with workers so I decided to quit,”.

He also said that the party had chosen the candidate who was not even a member of the party “he has recently joined and suddenly chosen as a candidate for Bandipora constituency,”.
