Announces ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh, Govt job to NoKs of slain, Rs one lakh to injured

Srinagar, Jan 01 : Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha on Monday condemned an attack in Rajouri yesterday and also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh and a government to the Next of Kin of slain civilians.

In a tweet, Sinha as per the news agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO), said that the people involved in the attack won’t go unpunished.

โ€œI strongly condemn the cowardly terror attack in Rajouri. I assure the people that those behind this despicable attack will not go unpunished. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families,โ€ Office of LG J&K tweeted.

The LG also announced that an ex-gratia of Rs. 10 lakh and a Govt job would be given to the next of kin of each of those civilians killed in the attack.

He also said that those injured would be given Rs.1 lakh.
