Kupwara, Aug 2 : The body of an 18-year-old youth was recovered from a forest area in Haihama of north Kashmirβs Kupwara district, officials said on Saturday.
An official told news agency Corner — that the deceased has been identified as Mohammad Aslam Khan, resident of Kum Kadri, Haihama. βHe had gone out with his cattle yesterday morning and did not return home. When his family searched for him, his body was found in a nearby forest,β the official said.
The body was shifted to a hospital in Kupwara for post-mortem before being handed over to his family for last rites.
Cognizance has been taken and further investigation started.
