Anantnag, June 4th : A vehicle skidded off the road and plunged into a stream in the Badaran locality of Ashmuqam in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday, officials said.
According to reports, the driver lost control of the car, causing it to fall into a nearby water channel. The vehicle sustained significant damage in the mishap and was found lodged in the stream.
Following the incident, local residents and officials reached the spot and began efforts to assess the situation. The condition of the occupants could not be immediately confirmed.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and are investigating the circumstances that led to the accident. Authorities have urged drivers to remain cautious while travelling on hilly and narrow roads.
