BJP Kashmir Unit celebrates party’s poll victory in three states in Srinagar

In a resounding victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), jubilant supporters gathered outside the party headquarters in Kashmir to celebrate the triumph in three out of four crucial state polls. The triumph in the heartland states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, months before the impending national elections marks a significant boost for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling party.

As the BJP supporters celebrated the victory outside party headquarters in Srinagar. They were seen raising party flags and praising the party workers. The event was attended by senior workers and supporters of the party.

Talking to reporters, Sajid Yousuf, Media Incharge of BJP Kashmir, emphasized the party’s ambitious goals, stating, “Our vision is set on a significant achievement of 500+ seats in the future. The commitment of our leadership to Jammu and Kashmir is unwavering,” he said.

Yousuf said that our recent triumphs in key states such as MP, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan, coupled with a noteworthy surge in Telangana (from 2 to 9 seats), underscore the broad appeal of the BJP. The support we receive spans across diverse backgrounds, affirming the BJP’s position as the world’s largest political party, he added.

The recently concluded provincial elections in Telangana and the heartland states were perceived as a litmus test for the BJP’s popularity ahead of the general elections scheduled within the next six months. The BJP’s stellar performance exceeded expectations, as pre-election polls had hinted at a closely contested battle between the ruling party and the primary opposition, Congress. The outcome underscores the growing popularity of Prime Minister Modi and the BJP, despite a decade in power nationally.
