*Anantnag Police Apprehends Six Gamblers in Pahalgam; ₹98,000 Stake Money Seized.*

In a continued drive against illegal gambling activities, Police Station Pahalgam apprehended six persons found indulging in gambling activities at a lawn situated behind Hotel Regent, Pahalgam.
The apprehended individuals have been identified as Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Shabir Ahmad Wani, Riyaz Ahmad Ganie, Ehtisham, Nazir Ahmad Shah and Ab Gani Teli, all residents of Budgam district.
During the raid, stake money amounting to ₹98,000 was recovered and seized from the spot.
Cognizance of the matter has been taken, and further proceedings under the relevant provisions of law have been initiated.
