Amit Shah to Jammu on Jan 9 to participate in developmental initiatives

Srinagar, Jan 07: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Jammu on Tuesday to attend series of development-related events and flag off an e-bus service.

Officials told local news agency that Shah will visit Jammu on January 9 to chair a review meeting on comprehensive development of Jammu and Kashmir and also attend series of developmental events.

They said that Shah will also launch ‘Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, flag off an e-bus service and inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various development projects.

Shah will also distribute appointment letters to the youths selected for different government jobs, they said.

This will be Shah’s first visit to Jammu and Kashmir after terrorists attacked two army vehicles, killing five soldiers in Poonch on December 21. (Agencies)
