Stray Dogs Strike, Leave 5 Persons With Injuries in Handwara Market

Handwara, Jan 7 : At least five persons were hospitalized after being attacked and injured by stray dogs in main Chowk Handwara on Sunday afternoon.

Reports reaching GNS said that a pack of stray dogs attacked the market going people, leaving five of them with injuries.

The injured persons were taken to District Hospital Handwara for treatment.

Confirming it, a medical official at DH Handwara told GNS that the persons are undergoing treatment at the hospital and luckily all are out of danger.

The medical official identified the injured persons as Habibullah, son of Abdul Aziz of Jaggerpora, Zahoor Ahmad son of Ali Mohammad of Handwara, Yasir Ahmad son of Mohammad Shafi of Handwara, Ghulam Mohammad, son of Abdul Rashid of Sagipora and Mushtaq Ahmad, son of Abdul Rashid of Chotipora.
