Four houses gutted in Srinagar fire
Srinagar, Jan 8, : At least 4 residetial houses were gutted in a fire incident in Hazratbal locality of Srinagar on Wednesday.
Local sources said that fire broke out from a house that engulfed three adjacent houses. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames.
An official said that two houses belonging to Mehraj Ahmed and Parvez Bhat were gutted extensively while two other houses suffered partial damage.
The official added that the fire has been controlled and a cooling operation is underway.
