EJAC condoles demise of Mushtaq Kashmiri

Extends solidarity, expressed sympathy with bereaved famly

Srinagar: JK Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) has expressed shock and sorrow on the sad demise of Mushtaq Kashmiri, a renowned poet, writer and an intellectual of unparalleled repute.
President EJAC and Chairman JK Teachers Forum Mohd Rafique Rather in a press statement said that kashmir has lost an asset, a patriot and a true kashmiri who had a great contribution in kashmiri Art ad literature. Rafique Rather said that late Mushtaq kashmiri was a pious soul and a down to earth man, who suffered much through out his life but neither succumbed nor compromised on his principals.
President EJAC said that Kashmiri language was dearer to him and most of his revolutionary poetry is in his mother tongue Kashmiri.
Rafique Rather said that he on behalf of entire leadership of EJAC and Employees fraternity extend solidarity to bereaved family and equally share the loss.
He said that employees fraternity stand by the family at this crucial hour of grief and pray for the departed soul to rest in piece.
