*Awantipora Police Seize 03 Mechanized Motor Boats Involved in Illegal Extraction of Minerals.*
Continuing its strict action against illegal extraction and transportation of minerals, Awantipora Police seized three mechanized motor boats involved in unlawful mineral-related activities.
A police party from Police Station Awantipora, headed by SHO PS Awantipora, Inspector Ajaz Hmad under the supervision of SDPO Awantipora seized the said mechanized motor boats which were being used for illegal extraction of minerals.
Accordingly, a case vide FIR No. 32/2026 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Awantipora, and further investigation has been initiated.
Awantipora Police appeals to the general public to cooperate and come forward with any information regarding illegal mineral extraction or transportation activities in their respective areas.
