*GMC Anantnag Strengthens Cardiology Services with New Department and Cath Lab*
Anantnag, Feb 10: Principal of Government Medical College (GMC) Anantnag Prof Dr Rukshana Najeeb has initiated the establishment of a dedicated Cardiology Department.
The meeting was held, where it was decided that renowned interventional cardiologist Dr. Syed Maqbool will incharge of the Cardiology Department and the Cath Lab at GMC Anantnag.
Dr. Maqbool, known for his expertise in interventional cardiology, is expected to play a pivotal role in enhancing cardiac care services at the institution.
His appointment marks a major step in ensuring advanced cardiac interventions and treatment facilities for patients in South Kashmir.
The decision reflects the commitment of Principal Prof Dr Ruksana Najeeb for strengthening specialized healthcare services at GMC Anantnag, aiming to provide world-class cardiology care to the people of the south kashmir and adjacent area.
