โPeople will be united through love, harmonyโ
JAMMU, Sept 10: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today declared that he would come back to Uttar Pradesh only after uniting the people of Jammu and Kashmir through love and harmony and after making the UT an integral part of India.
He stated this while addressing a function after unveiling the statue of Ramnath Yadav, leader of Ghazipurโs Mohammadabad area, in Uttar Pradesh. He sought cooperation of the people to fulfil his responsibility as the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir bestowed upon him by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
โI will come back to Uttar Pradesh only after uniting the people of Jammu and Kashmir through love and harmony and making J&K an integral part of India,โโ Sinha, who was Lok Sabha member from Ghazipur and Union Minister of Communications from 2014-2019, said.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi โinitiated the politics of serving the countryโ and would take the country to greater heights.
Asserting that it was a matter of pride for the country that Prime Minister Narendra Modiโs voice was being heard all over the world through G20 Summit, Sinha called upon people to reject those who make politics a business and instead support those who serve the country.
โForeign heads of State are praising India and the Prime Minister. The countrymen are also happy that their country is moving towards progress. The public is appreciating the Government,โ the Lieutenant Governor said.
Sinha called upon the people to reject those who make politics a business and support those who serve the country and countrymen through politics, so that India can maintain its highest position in the world.
He added that those doing โpolitics of casteism and familismโ and trying to defame the country will be taught a lesson.
โBoth in India and outside, they are trying to disintegrate India. Exclude such elements from politics,โ Sinha exhorted the gathering.
โIndianness is being inculcated in the minds of the people there through love. Not only the country, the entire world is noticing that there is happiness and peace there,โ he added.
