Srinagar : Police in Budgam claimed to have traced a mother along with her minor son within six hours after a missing complaint was received.
A police spokesman in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that Police Station Khag received a written complaint from Ghulam Hassan Hajam of Sugen Khag stating therein that his wife, an actual resident of West Bengal along with his eight-year-old son went missing on 10/05/2022 since 11:00 hours.
Accordingly, a missing report was lodged in PS Khag & search was launched swiftly by a team of PS Khag headed by SHO Khag, police said.
After strenuous efforts and utilizing all available technical as well as human resources, the missing lady and her son was traced from Mahraj Gunj area of Srinagar within six hours after missing complaint was received.
After completion of all legal formalities, the duo was handed over to her legal heirs—(KNO)
