Anantnag, September 11, 2026:
Anantnag Police, continuing its efforts against the menace of drug abuse, arrested one person during routine patrolling in the Uttersoo area.
A police party from Police Station Uttersoo apprehended one person, namely Muzaffar Ahmad Wani S/o Ghulam Mohd Wani R/o Panchalthan, Uttersoo, at Buchan Crossing, Khanzaman. During his search, charas was recovered from his possession.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 92/2026 under Sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Uttersoo, and investigation has been taken up.
