Srinagar, June 12 : Chairman Nigeen Tourist Traders Association (NTTA), Manzoor Wangnoo hailed the recent order to provide subsidised Timber to Houseboats and Shikara owners for repair.
In a statement, issued to Media, he said that finally, the heritage properties of houseboats getting much sought after & decades old pending demand, has been met.
He said that the provision of subsidised timber to houseboat owners is a sigh of relief and these old age heritage properties can now be repaired and refurbished.
He also thanked LG Manoj Sinha, Chief Secretary, Secretary Tourism, Director Tourism & dedicated team of tourism department.
He expressed sincere appreciations to the administration in passing this historical important order & believed that the same will create new avenues for the houseboat industry.
