Srinagar, Oct 12 (KNO): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has decided to field state president Sat Sharma as its candidate for the Rajya Sabha seat, where it holds a numerical advantage over the ruling alliance.
According to the news agencyβKashmir News Observer (KNO), the BJP has decided that Sat Sharma will contest the election under the third notification, which includes a combined election for the third and fourth seats.
On the seat being contested by Sat Sharma, the NC-led alliance holds 24 votes, while the BJP commands 28 votes-giving it a clear edgeβ(KNO)
