Jammu and Kashmir’s Future Brightens with New IITs, AIIMS, and Medical Colleges, Says PM Modi

Ganderbal, Jan 13, : At the inauguration of the Z-Morh Tunnel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India’s overall development, highlighting the inclusive progress across all regions, including Jammu and Kashmir.

“India is steadily progressing towards new heights, with every citizen contributing to making our country a developed nation by 2047. This vision can only be achieved when no region or family is left behind. Our government is committed to working relentlessly with the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’,” Modi stated.

The Prime Minister praised the improvements made in the living standards of millions, with over 4 crore underprivileged families, including those in Jammu and Kashmir, now having permanent homes. He also announced plans to construct an additional 3 crore homes for the poor in the near future.

Modi also highlighted the advancements in healthcare and education, stating that millions, including those in Jammu and Kashmir, are benefiting from free medical treatment. He further stressed the ongoing expansion of educational infrastructure across the country, with new IITs, IIMs, AIIMS, medical colleges, nursing schools, and polytechnic institutes being established nationwide, including in Jammu and Kashmir, over the last decade.

“Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing remarkable transformations in infrastructure and education, and this is just the beginning,” Modi affirmed. (CNS)
