*SBSP to Contest Upcoming ULB and Panchayat Polls, Says Vivek Bali at Sopore Convention, Vivek Bali Criticizes NC Government Over Unfulfilled Promises*

Sopore, June 14: The Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (SBSP) on Sunday organized a workers’ convention at Dagarpora, Sopore, which witnessed the participation of hundreds of workers and local residents who attended the event with great enthusiasm and support.
The convention was presided over by SBSP State President Vivek Bali. He was accompanied by Political Advisor Dilawar Singh, North Kashmir Incharge Wajahat Rana, Dr. Firdous Ahmad Wani, District President Kupwara, Srinagar District Youth President Bilal Ahmad, Fayaz Ahmed Mir, Mohd Ramzan, Abdul Ahad, Bashir Mir, and several other party leaders and workers.
During the convention, local residents raised various public issues, including water scarcity, poor road connectivity, electricity-related problems, and other civic concerns affecting the people of Dagarpora and adjoining areas.
Addressing the gathering, Vivek Bali assured the people that all their genuine grievances would be taken up with the concerned authorities and higher officials for early resolution. He specifically assured residents that the issue of water scarcity would be addressed on priority.
Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the event, Bali said that the overwhelming participation of people in the convention reflected their growing faith in the SBSP.
“Today’s workers’ convention witnessed the participation of hundreds of people from the area who feel ignored and neglected. They believe that SBSP is the only party sincerely working to address their concerns. We assure the people that their grievances will be taken up and resolved as soon as possible,” he said.
Bali also criticized the National Conference (NC)-led government, alleging that it had failed to fulfill several promises made to the people during the Assembly elections. He referred to commitments such as providing 200 units of free electricity and other welfare measures, claiming that the government had not delivered on its assurances.
He further stated that the government had failed to effectively address public grievances and was not working for the welfare and development of the people.
Commenting on the National Conference’s demand for the restoration of statehood, Bali said that the party was now focusing on the statehood issue after failing to achieve progress on the restoration of Article 370. He alleged that such moves were aimed at diverting public attention from unfulfilled promises and governance-related issues.
Reiterating the party’s commitment to grassroots politics, Bali announced that the SBSP would actively participate in the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) and Panchayat elections. He expressed confidence that the party would emerge victorious in several areas, including Dagarpora.
The convention concluded with party workers reaffirming their commitment to strengthening the organization at the grassroots level and working for the welfare of the people.
