Three Bihar residents killed as bus turns turtle on NH in south Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 18: At least three persons were killed after a bus they were travelling in turned turtle in National highway near Awantipora area in south Kashmir on Saturday morning.

An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a bus turned turtle on National Highway near a bridge in Gooripora Awantipora, resulting in injuries to several persons.

All the injured persons were shifted to hospital for treatment, however, three of them succumbed to injuries. They were identified as Nasrudin Ansari son of Islam Ansari from West Champaran Bihar, Raj Karan Das, son of Shivu Das from Khatia Pichhia Bihar and Saleem Ali son of Mohammad Alaudin from Telta Bihar.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the mishap and further investigation have been set into motion. (KDC)
