Srinagar, April 19 : A sarpanch has been arrested for raping a woman in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police official told Kashmir Scroll that sarpanch was arrested on basis of compliant of a woman who alleged that she was raped by him.
He identified him as Ali Mohd Dar son of Ab Ahad Dar resident of Rawoocha Rafiabad.
He said that case FIR no 26/2023 u/s 376, 506, 109 IPC has been registered in concerned police station and investigation has been taken up he said—(KS)
