**Zero Tolerance Against Drugs: Anantnag Police Slaps PIT-NDPS on Notorious Peddler*

Continuing its sustained crackdown on the drug menace, Anantnag Police has booked a notorious drug peddler, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani S/o Gh Nabi Wani R/o Panzgam Kokernag, under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (PIT-NDPS) Act.

The accused has been identified as a repeated drug offender involved in activities related to the illicit trafficking of narcotic substances. In view of his continued involvement in drug-related activities and to prevent further illicit trafficking, the competent authority ordered his detention under the PIT-NDPS Act.

Following the detention order, Mushtaq Ahmad Wani has been lodged in Central Jail Kotbhalwa Jammu as per law.
