Property of Pak-Based Terrorist Handler Owais Feroze Attached in Pampore

Srinagar, May 20, Authorities on Monday attached the immovable property of Pakistan-based terrorist handler Owais Feroze Mir, son of Feroze Ahmad Mir, under Section 88 of the CrPC, following court directions.
The police said that the property, measuring 02 marlas and 79 square feet and located in Frestabal area of Pampore (Drangabal estate), was seized after the Special Designated Court under the NIA Act in Pulwama, Court of Additional Sessions Judge, issued an attachment order in connection with a militancy case.
The court order was executed jointly by revenue officials and Pampore police in the presence of local residents.
According to police, Owais Feroze is involved in FIR No. 42/2018 registered at Police Station Pampore under Sections 18, 20, and 38 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. He has been declared a proclaimed offender by the NIA-designated court in Pulwama.
Officials said Owais Feroze, currently based in Pakistan, is actively involved in promoting militancy in Kashmir by facilitating the infiltration of arms and ammunition and attempting to revive local militant networks.
