โ‚น1.5 crore illegal property linked to wanted dr*g peddler demolished : Srinagar police.

Srinagar Police demolished an illegally constructed two-storey structure worth nearly โ‚น1.5 crore in Haka Bazar, Lal Bazar, as part of the ongoing ๐—ก๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ต๐—ฎ ๐— ๐˜‚๐—ธ๐˜ ๐—๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—บ๐˜‚ & ๐—ž๐—ฎ๐˜€๐—ต๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ฟ ๐—”๐—ฏ๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜†๐—ฎ๐—ป.

The property, allegedly linked to wanted drug peddler Arshid Ahmed Sheikh, was built on State land and spread over around nine marlas. Police said the accused is involved in multiple NDPS cases registered in Jammu and Srinagar.

The demolition drive was carried out by Police Station Lal Bazar in the presence of the Executive Magistrate Khanyar and officials of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation. Authorities said the action was taken under legal provisions to dismantle illegal assets generated through narcotics trade.

Srinagar Police reiterated its resolve to eradicate the drug menace and urged citizens to share information related to drug peddling and unlawful activities.
