Gurez Valley Schools Shut Down for Two More Days Amid Heavy Snowfall and Avalanche Threat
Gurez, Feb 21 : Two more days to rest for the students in Gurez valley in northern region of Kashmir after heavy snowfall officials said.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that in view of heavy snowfall and Avalanche threat, the authorities ordered that all Government/Private educational Institutions in Sub Division Gurez shall remain closed for two days from 21 Feb to 22.
Pertinently, School Education Department Tuesday clarified that there will be no rescheduling for reopening of schools for teachers and students. (KS).
