Srinagar, May 21st : Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Srinagar Police on Thursday carried out a destruction drive against wild cannabis near Wagoora.
Police teams identified and destroyed wild bung spread across the area to prevent its misuse for narcotic purposes and curb drug abuse.
The police said the drive is part of its continued efforts to ensure a drug-free society and urged the public to share information related to narcotics cultivation or drug peddling with the nearest police station.
