Srinagar: The Viksat Bharat Sankalp Yatra, driven by the vision of comprehensive development, continues to make remarkable strides in Jammu and Kashmir, marking a significant journey under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Over the past four years, the government has implemented a series of measures aimed at enhancing social security and fostering financial inclusion.

The Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, spearheaded by the Center, is advancing steadily in its unwavering commitment to inclusive development, drawing overwhelming support from enthusiastic citizens in every region it touches. As the yatra unfolds, the dedication of the Modi government to inclusive governance becomes evident through the warm reception it garners at each stop. At its core, the Yatra aims to ensure the comprehensive implementation of government schemes, leaving no genuine beneficiary overlooked. Encompassing over 3500 panchayats and engaging more than 2 million people, the Yatra stands as a testament to the collective resolve to transform India into a developed nation by 2047.

One of the primary objectives of the Yatra is to apprise citizens of various public welfare schemes, and its impact is discernible as individuals from diverse backgrounds take proactive initiatives. The ‘Modi’s Guaranteed Vehicle,’ symbolizing the government’s commitment to development, has been embraced with enthusiasm wherever it travels.

Over the past four years, the Modi government has implemented numerous initiatives to enhance social security and promote financial inclusion in the Union-administered Jammu and Kashmir. These initiatives have reached out to the underprivileged, ensuring their well-being and financial stability.

In the realm of financial inclusion, the PM Jan Dhan Yojana has made a tangible impact, with 27.35 lakh new bank accounts in Jammu and Kashmir. Additionally, the PM Thakurs Bima Yojana has enrolled 16.17 lakh individuals, providing critical accident insurance coverage. The PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, with 6.57 lakh enrollments, offers one-year renewable life insurance, extending protection to families. The Atal Pension Yojana has garnered subscriptions from over 1.77 lakh people, ensuring a sustainable pension for the future.

Furthermore, the PM Swamidhi Yojana, offering working capital loans exceeding 32.54 crores, has empowered 15,633 beneficiaries in Jammu and Kashmir to become entrepreneurs. The Yatra remains a dynamic force in disseminating information about these initiatives and fostering positive change across the region.
