The water level of Lidder River is hovering around the same level. Vishow Nallah continues to show a gradual increase.

Considering the current situation, the water level of Jhelum at both Sangam and Ram Munshi Bagh is expected to cross the Flood Declaration Mark in the next 6 – 8 hrs.

Lidder and Vishow may continue to show an up trend considering it continues to rain in its catchment area from the last 6 hrs at least (especially as the rains have intensified from the last few hours).

People living in the low-lying areas are suggested to keep a very strict look over the conditions and take measures which feel suitable.
