Samba, Sep 24 : A 30-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his leg in a firing incident near the Tarore area of Bari Brahmana in Samba district, officials said.
A senior police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that two to three rounds were fired during the incident. The injured man was shifted to AIIMS Vijaypur for treatment.
The injured was identified as Vishal Singh (30), a resident of Rahya in Vijaypur.
Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.—(KNO)
